At Kississing Lake Lodge, we believe in using the gifts we’ve been given to make a difference. Since 2020, our Cast It Forward initiative has been a meaningful way for us to give back—touching lives, fostering connections, and spreading joy to people from all walks of life.
Each year, we’ve invited you to help us share the magic of Kississing Lodge by nominating someone deserving of an unforgettable fishing adventure. From honoring difference makers to welcoming newcomers to North America or helping families reconnect, the stories we’ve received have been humbling, heartwarming, and inspiring.
But more than that, Cast It Forward is about encouraging all of us to give back—whether in small ways or big. By sharing what we have, we can inspire others to do the same and make the world a little brighter.
I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples.
Mentors Who Make a Difference
For 2024, we’re turning the spotlight on the unsung heroes of our lives: mentors—those incredible people who guide us, encourage us, and selflessly pour into our lives without expecting anything in return.
Mentors have the power to change lives, offering their time, wisdom, and support to help us grow, thrive, and reach new heights. Whether it’s career advice, relationship guidance, or simply being a steadfast presence during life’s challenges, mentors make an impact that lasts a lifetime.
This year, we’re inviting you to nominate a mentor who has been a guiding light in your life. Whether it’s someone who’s supported your personal journey, helped shape your career, or strengthened your faith, we want to help you say “thank you” in a meaningful way.

What’s the Prize?
We’ll be selecting two deserving mentors to receive a 4-Day/4-Night fishing trip for two people to Kississing Lake Lodge. It’s the perfect opportunity for them to experience the beauty, peace, and thrill of a Canadian fishing adventure.
