We had a wonderful trip. The first night we were fortunate enough to see the northern lights. The food was excellent! The staff was very attentive and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful. The fishing was great with multiple trophies caught in our group. I did a one day fly out and caught dozens of walleye and northerns, including my first Master Angler northern pike!

Aurora Alert Service
Our attentive team offers an optional wake-up service, thoughtfully coordinated to ensure you never miss a show. While auroras can sometimes be seen early, peak viewing is between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Scenic Paddle & Picnic (Beginner-Friendly)
Enjoy a leisurely 2 to 3-hour paddle down the scenic File River, perfect for beginners. Weave through rugged landscapes and boreal forest, keeping an eye out for caribou or moose along the way. Your adventure ends with a gourmet lakeside lunch and wine, prepared by our team in a stunning natural setting.

For a more challenging canoe adventure, paddle from Takipy Lake to Flat Rock Lake via the Kississing River, starting at scenic falls before navigating portages. Getting here is easy. With direct flights into Winnipeg from major U.S. and Canadian cities, travel is seamless. From there, we’ll take care of everything—your package includes round-trip flights from Winnipeg to the lodge, private lakeside accommodations, gourmet dining, expert-guided fishing, and more. At Kississing, you’re more than just a guest—you’re part of the family. Our team is dedicated to delivering a personalized, first-class experience, so you can focus on the adventure.

Group Sizes
All rates at Kississing Lake Lodge are based on groups of two people or more. For groups with an uneven number an extra boat is sometimes required; please add $150 per day to the package price to cover the cost of the extra boat and guide. Please call for details.
Weight Limit
Rates are based on a weight limit of 50 lbs per person for those flying with Wings Over Kississing from Winnipeg to Flin Flon.
Payment Policy
Deposit

A deposit is required to confirm all reservations at Kississing Lodge.
- For trips starting in Winnipeg: $1,000 deposit per guest
Payment
The balance is due at the end of your trip, together with any other charges that may apply (taxes, licenses, etc.).
Accepted Methods of Payment
We accept checks, cash, Visa and MasterCard. An additional 2% service charge will apply to all payments made with credit cards, except for the minimum deposit required.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation 90 days prior to your trip:
If a cancellation is made 90 days prior to your trip, 50% of the deposit will be credited to next year. The remaining deposit, minus a $70 cancellation fee will be refunded.
Cancellation 90 days within your trip:
For cancellations made within 90 days of your trip, 50% of the deposit will be credited to the following year and the remaining deposit is not refundable or transferable.
Please note: Remaining deposits are transferrable for up to a maximum of two years. The deposit will expire if not used within that time frame.
